WhiteHorse Hash House Harriers are going to have a special Victoria Day run around downtown Whitehorse In honour of Queen Victoria's birthday, the run will tour the Royal landmarks of downtown Whitehorse. The run will be a bit of a puzzle because the trail/course will "disappear" en-route and to find where the trail re-starts, the runners will need to find a Royal landmark. It won't really be that hard, typically the on-trail is found within a block or two of where the trail stops, and everyone works together to find the right trail. If you haven't done a Hash House Harrier run before, they are social runs that accommodate a wide range of abilities. Fast runners can get a hard run in, and more casual runners get a nice run too, and somehow miraculously (or by the cunning design of the run), almost everyone finishes at the same time. The run will be about 5km, and probably take about an hour. There will also be refreshments part way around the course. |
